Fresh Floral Wearables are an absolute joy to both wear and create.

At this 1 Day Intensive Course you will learn the secrets behind artfully creating these stunning fashion forward accessories, before artfully creating your own. 

After a tour of our flower field we will select and cut fresh flowers to create the following: A Fresh Floral Tattoo, a Floral Hairpiece and delicate fresh floral jewellery.
We will take you through our design led process to creating these light, easy to wear, and long lasting pieces, from initial design stage, through to flower selection, care and creation. 

Our fresh wearables are perfect for brides, bridesmaids, debs, birthdays, a day at the races, or any special occasion calling for a truly beautiful and unique floral accessory.

 Enjoy learning the art of floristry in the peaceful surround of our studio’s walled courtyard garden and micro flower farm at Caherlag House in Glanmire.

While our signature “just picked from the garden” luxurious and natural style may look effortless, it is actually considered and purely intentional, seeking to celebrate and compliment the unique beauty, shape and individuality of each flower. 

Over the course of 3 full days of this comprehensive design course, we will cover the fundamentals of design theory and the mechanics needed for you to create your very own foam free, natural and garden inspired masterpieces. Each day we will harvest flowers right from our flower field to use in our designs.

After discussing floral care, we will next touch on colour theory before discussing the ideal flower assortment and approach needed to achieve a natural, elevated and garden inspired style. 

Are you an aspiring floral designer or floral professional looking to incorporate a fresh, inspired, natural and design led approach to your wedding creations?  

At our 4 day hands on intensive course, “The Essential Wedding Collection” we will gather to discuss design & composition, flower selection & care as well as the techniques, foam-free floral mechanics and finishing touches used to create lush, spilly and dreamy wedding florals. 

We will spend our time over these 4 days immersed in creative conversations and application as I guide you through my techniques; from choosing product that lends itself to natural floral design, to colour choices and placement as well as creating movement in your work. 
We will incorporate as many blooms as you possible grown here in our courtyard garden and specialty cut flower field and you will have the opportunity to select yours and cut right from the field. 

Working as individuals and together you will create the following:

• Horizontal Bridal Bouquet- This style is more oblong than perfectly round. Flowers are layered creating dimension, movement and whimsey 
• Modern Cascading Bouquet- A more refined version of the classic featuring lush florals spilling from the front whilst incorporating lots of layers for dimension and whimsey. (Both bouquets will be finished with hand dyed silk ribbons) 
• A selection of wearable flowers 
• Flowery Compote Bowl
• Large Scale Urn Arrangement 
• Floral Installation 

Along the way, using your I-Phone/camera phone, each day we will take time to discuss best practice for styling, capturing and editing images of your work. All images we take will be yours for use in your portfolios, proposals and social media. 

 A framed certificate of completion will be issued. 

All flowers, vessels, tools, mechanics and lists of flowers/ supplies are included. Lunch and refreshments are included and will be served each day. 

This is an intimate course with a limit of 4 people to ensure each student has plenty of one to one time and support.

Are you an aspiring floral designer or floral professional looking to further expand your creativity by adding natural and foam free installations to your repertoire?

At this 4 day hands on intensive course, we will deep dive into the world of Arch’s, exploring various types, their distinct uses, methods of creating and most effective sustainable mechanics.
With our rustic design studio, courtyard flower garden and cut flower field serving as the perfect backdrop, you will learn an inspired, design led, and fresh approach to creating these memorable statement pieces, suitable for ceremonies, exhibitions, photo shoots, events, etc. 

Each Day we will start by harvesting and conditioning the flowers needed from our own flower field before getting to work. 
We will spend our time immersed in creative conversations and application around design & composition, as I guide you through my approach. We will cover everything from foam-free floral mechanics to selecting product that lends itself to natural floral design with a focus on sustainability, and that sets you up for success; to colour choices and placement, as well as creating movement in your work.

Throughout this course we will discuss safety measures for all types of arches and environments. 

Using beautiful varieties of flowers and foliage we will create the following:

• Naturalised Ceremony Arbor 
• Deconstructed Asymmetric Arch 
• Entry Way Arch 
• Suspended Arch 

By the end of the 4th day you will leave armed with the foundation required to create your own unique & memorable floral moments, designed to inspire and leave a lasting impression.
 The bounds of your own imagination will be your only limit.

This will be a very intimate course with a limit of 4 people to ensure each student has hands on time and support.
