Flower Fairy Team- 2026 Seasonal invitation

This season, we’re opening a small number of places for those who would like to become part of our Flower Fairy Team at The Flowersmith Studio.

This is a small, committed working circle, shaped by the seasonal needs of the farm and a shared goal: establishing and caring for a field of flowers that we all get to enjoy as it grows and blooms.

At its heart, the Flower Fairy Team is about three things:

Working with the land

Hands-on involvement in the real, timely work of a flower farm — sowing, planting, tending, and harvesting in step with the season. This role suits those who enjoy gardening and outdoor physical work.

Learning through shared purpose

Practical growing knowledge gained through doing, observing, and responding to the needs of the plants as part of a working team.

 Contribution, connection, and creativity

Being part of a small group working toward a shared outcome — a living field of flowers that rewards care, consistency, and collective effort, with opportunities to carry that connection into creative work with flowers.

The core working day is Saturday. At times, additional midweek days (Thursday or Friday) may be offered during busy periods, or used as an alternative in weeks when a Saturday session isn’t possible.

In return, Flower Fairies can expect:

– time immersed in the seasonal life of the farm

– practical growing knowledge built through experience

– shared enjoyment of the flowers they’ve helped establish

– opportunities to join seasonal floral design workshops for those who wish to deepen their creative connection or expertise

– moments of connection, conversation, and shared breaks

This experience is best suited to those who value showing up consistently, working outdoors, and contributing to a shared goal, rather than drop-in or casual volunteering.
