Care Note:
Amaryllis grow toward warmth and light. For strong, upright stems, keep your plant in a bright but not overly warm spot. If placed somewhere too warm, it may grow too quickly and become leggy. Turn the pot every few days to encourage balanced growth.
Water sparingly until growth begins. Keep the soil just lightly moist — about ½ cup (100–120ml) of water once a week is usually enough. Avoid overwatering, as amaryllis bulbs prefer to stay on the drier side.
