The Mulberry Curiosity — Small Botanical Cloche

A little botanical artwork, inspired by the wonders of the natural world.

Inspired by the tradition of botanical curiosities — unusual natural objects collected and displayed for their beauty and intrigue — this small dried-flower composition invites you to look a little closer.

A sculptural teasel rises among raspberry and plum-toned helichrysum and delicate dried botanicals, creating an intriguing interplay of form, colour and texture. Presented beneath a glass cloche with a decorative glass knob and finished with a soft pink velvet ribbon, the arrangement feels like a little discovery from a cabinet of curiosities: a fragment of the natural world, thoughtfully composed beneath glass.

Every flower begins its journey in our own growing space in Cork, where it is grown, harvested and dried by hand. Working with flowers as my medium, I love exploring their extraordinary variety, finding beauty in unexpected shapes and textures and bringing them together in new ways. Each piece is composed stem by stem, allowing the natural character of every botanical element to shape the finished artwork.

Small in scale but full of character, this botanical curiosity celebrates the details that might otherwise go unnoticed — the sculptural silhouette of a seed head, the intricate texture of a dried flower and the subtle variations found in nature. Designed to be displayed and enjoyed throughout the year, it brings a little piece of the natural world into your home.

A thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates botanical artistry, unusual natural objects and beautifully considered details, or a distinctive addition to your own home.
