As the longest day of the year approaches, the Summer Solstice represents new beginnings, is considered the ultimate triumph of light over darkness and is the perfect time for birthing new energy, enjoying nature and welcoming in abundance.
Join us for an morning of flower play and celebration where we will connect with nature and our inner goddess whist creating flower crowns which combine fresh and dried flowers foliage and grasses. In this completely hands on course you will learn intricate wiring techniques and create your own flower headress from scratch.
During the summer months, a tour of our walled garden will be incorporated into our workshops, where you will have the opportunity to use the freshest of blooms right from our own cut flower garden in your creations.
With our Crowns firmly in place we will next create our own native smudge sticks whilst learning about the ancient practice of Smudging, it’s benefits and uses.
The ritual of burning plants selected for their medicinal and therapeutic properties has been practiced for centuries. The occasion of the Summer Solstice is the perfect time to clear our space and mind of negativity, set positive intentions and make room for abundance.
A workshop with us makes a wonderful gift, for yourself or someone special and the perfect activity for friends and loved ones to do together whilst catching up.
Dressing in layers is always a good idea as our workshops are held in our outdoor purpose built pergola. Flooded with natural light, yet still providing lots of fresh air and ventilation, it’s an ideal activity space.
Spaces are limited to ensure quality 1-1 support and instruction for everyone as needed.
Whether you come on your own or with another flower lover, we guarantee a relaxed and fun morning, filling your senses and tapping into your inner floral designer.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for your workshop.
- Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served.
- Workshop will take place outdoors and protected under our lovely covered and enclosed pergola, so no fear of inclement weather.
